Fairytale Freebie

Hope everyone is having a great Wednesday!
I have a new set of Label It! Mats...this time focused around fairytale type stories.
Here is a little bonus freebie not included in the pack ...all in celebration of me finishing them finally:

Check out the pack of 12 fairytale type themed mats here:

Oh, and just a little funny bit from today...one of my kids came up to me and tattled "SoandSo said the 's' word"...and being the seasoned teacher that I am, I mistakenly said "which one?"... knowing he was about to reply 'stupid'...(which he did)...and then all of a sudden the tattletale says, "wait, how many 's' words are there?"  I told him not to worry about it. lol

Do you have a room with NO view?

Or worse yet, an ugly view?  Well, at my school we have a set of windows in the hallway right outside of my room that have a view to quite possibly the ugliest trailer in the world...it is used as a "closet " for the janitor and is just horrid to look at every day.  SO...I decided (with the help of a lovely parent volunteer) to cover the windows.  Here are some pictures in case you have a spot that could use some help, all you need is bulletin board paper and trim.  I added rope with tulle at the top (not a good idea if your school is infested with bats...but otherwise a lovely touch =) The green is just cut up crepe paper.  We used shades of blue on the windows because of our ocean theme...but in years' past I have done rainbow colors instead.

Another idea is simple, but cute to assign the grade levels n each hallway, I used triangles cut out of construction paper and then cut out letters with bulletin board trim at the top.  Cute, huh?
And just another random pic of the back of my room...I know some folks say kids shouldn't be over stimulated by their environment...certainly that isn't what is going on here...right?? lol
HAPPY MONDAY EVERYONE!!

Let's Make a Pilgrim...or an Elf!

I have had a ton of folks saying they loved the pilgrims and elves found on my class website.  I have never used a template... I had seen them done by another teacher (the fabulous Ms Wynn) and sort of changed them a bit over the years and came up with these cuties...both of which have a writing prompt in the middle.  I decided to make a template and full directions to go along with each.

If you love them as much as I do, check them out on Teachers Notebook or  TPT
I am still having a Birthday sale!!

Thanks for looking!

Label It! Pack and a Freebie!

Why is it when I read or say that I hear the music to "Can't Touch This"...and then I hear "Label Time" instead of "Hammer Time"?  Probably because I am a wee bit cuckoo. =)

Well, regardless of the state of my sanity, I created a packet of Label It! Mats...15 in all and you can check it out on TpT by clicking the picture below! Or Click {HERE}

I also created a cute little Label It! Freebie to welcome in the school year:
Click the picture to get it!

What a holiday weekend will do to you: Still sporting my glasses and pj's..lol
Crazy kids.

Oops!

Ok...I promise that I am trying not to post more than once or twice in a day...but I realized I didn't post my Top Ten on the post titled "My Top Ten" this morning..even though I meant to- I put my thank yous and clicked post- and then it actually took me two hours to realize I didn't finish my thought!!  I am losing it...I mean seriously.  I could blame the two toddlers...or the messy house...or old age...
but I won't! lol
SOOOO  ANYWAYS!  I already mentioned earlier today how much I love Mel D and Mrs Schroeder's pages...so I guess I get to add 10+ more =)

A FEW of my fav blogs out there- trust me, I have wayyyy more than 10 favs!!

I also love Mrs. Duggins' Doodlebugs...I can't get her button to copy, strange seeing as how I helped her make it?!  haha
