I am linking up with Farley for this month's Currently!
The reason I am loving Lysol is because over the summer I entered a contest for healthy classrooms and WON! I received a $500 gift card for my classroom and a case of Lysol wipes!
(who can't use Lysol wipes in a classroom??) LOVE!
(who can't use Lysol wipes in a classroom??) LOVE!
On their School Page they offer seasonal contests for classrooms, one ended last month, but I would keep watching their page for another one coming up soon!
So...with the money I ordered an iPad for my class and headphones!!
I am super stoked! Who wouldn't be??
As for the exercising (what I am thinking above)
....I actually got ready to go for a walk yesterday, tennis shoes and everything!
And then.....I made Pumpkin Bread instead (in said shoes!)
I am HORRIBLE!
Link up with Farley and share!
Oh my goodness! Congratulations. That's awesome and so great of you to get that for your classroom. The kiddos will have a ball! Hopefully you can get it in time and wrap it up as a Christmas surprise. :D

Congrats! How exciting. I just walked the dog...but now I'm eating BBQ potato chips in my tennis shoes so I'm pretty sure it cancelled my walk out. Oh well. ;)
ReplyDeleteLOL! That's hilarious! Today's another day! Get outside! Hope your k year is going fab!

Hahaha I so love that you made pumpkin bread instead. I'm glad I'm not the only one that starts one thing and then switches to another (usually more fun/less healthy) thing.....:)

Hi Jennifer:
ReplyDeleteMaybe you burn more calories if you cook while wearing "exercise shoes." We can hope, right?
Wishing you a happy December!

ReplyDeleteThey say the hardest step is stepping out the door. For me it's putting my feet on the floor and gettin' out of bed early in the A.M. lol

You made me grin with this post! Congrats on the win! I know your students will love that iPad. As for the exercising, I soooo feel you. I keep saying I'm going to do it and then don't. So many things just get in the way. I think it's time to just do it. We'll see. Hope that pumpkin bread was awesome!

Funky First Grade Fun
I decided to comment on all the ones from our great state! I found 6 of us from AL. Love your blog! I can so relate to your exercise "procrastination". I did that every day last week - one day was too cold, one was too wet, etc. I seem to create excuses so I don't have to walk. I got a neat walking app yesterday, and now I'm more motivated. I walked two miles yesterday! I just hope I can keep it up! Congrats on your win in the contest. I always wonder if anybody ever really wins those! It's nice to know that they really do have a winner that gets the prize. I'm going to keep my eye out for the next one, but I never win anything!
