If your kids are anything like my three, it can be difficult to keep them busy during these last summer months. I have to pry them away from the TV and iPad most days....except on the day that the
Kiwi Crate arrived! My kiddos couldn't wait to open the box and see what fun was inside! And then the great thing was, they wanted to go outside and play with their creations after they made them!
The box contained everything you needed to create two interactive crafts...this month was a starlight lantern and collection box. Their big sister helped them create their projects! Perfect!
The collection box has different inserts so that they can choose the kind of collection they want to build.
Maggie chose the plant/outdoor insert. The lantern has an actual light inside it...they had the BEST time putting it together and learning about the constellations!
The folks at Kiwi Crate sent me a sample to try and I am hooked! They have a special promotion right now for their Summer Discovery Series...perfect to try out and see if your kids like them as much as mine did!
Kiwi Crate is a monthly subscription service, targeted at kids ages 3-7. We deliver a box to your child each month that’s designed around a certain theme (think Dinosaurs, Garden, Superheroes, Space.) In each box are 2-3 carefully designed and kid-tested projects, which cover a range of developmental areas and subjects, including art, science, and imaginative play. All the materials and inspiration to encourage creativity and curiosity are included – you just supply the kid!
We were recently featured on Good Morning America, the Today Show, In Style, Parents Magazine,

We have a winner! Congrats, Lindsey!
Visiting the splash pad, reading books, library story time, going to park, play dates with friends. Hard to believe it is about to come to an end!

I looooooove Kiwi Crates! We have gotten them for the past year for my 5 year old. My older daughter dances several nights a week so we wanted something special for the little one to do and this more than does the trick. Their projects are so cool, always themed, and the materials are super sturdy. I can't say enough about them!
ReplyDeleteMy girls do a half day theater camp which keeps them busy, but we also like to play badminton in the backyard, go on nature walks (collecting all kinds of crazy things), and do whatever nifty things the library dreams up. Lots of reading too!
Lindsey
I have never heard of them before, but they look like a lot of fun!!! Something to definitely checkout. Thanks for sharing.

My kids attend camp! A great way to keep them busy with kids their own age!

At the end of the school year my kids and I make a summer wish list of all the things we want to do. We never get them all done, but we try!
ReplyDeleteMy 4 kids love to hang at the commuinty pool, there's always a freind to hang with there. We also hit the movie theater for the special dollar movie days. Both boys play travel baseball, so many days are spent just lounging around and enjoying some family down time! So sad summer is winding down.....
