Super Giveaways! And a funny story...

Oh and for a funny story from today...we are in small group with my advanced group.  We look at the biography that we will be reading, about Joseph Bruchac.  I ask the kids to look at his picture and guess what he is famous for...what he does...etc

    This reminds me of a little reader we had about Marjory Stoneman Douglas (the Everglades lady) and when one little darling saw her picture he said, "How can someone possibly be that old?!" Too funny.
