With all the pushing toward academic rigor, common core standards, and math initiatives teachers know the importance of high math expectations. But with these, it doesn't mean math has to be boring. Geometry is one of my favorite subjects to teach. Learning Resources contacted me about reviewing their Geometric Shapes Building Set and of course I said YES! My students love anything hands-on, who doesn't?
Can't you just see all the possibilities?? It's an automatic math station!
I think imagination is one of the BEST ways to motivate kids!

Oh the Little Wonders
I think the quality of the camera is most important…and then the settings you use are the next important detail =) I have a Canon T3i with a 50mm 1.4 lens. It was worth every penny!! If you don't have access to a really good camera, then natural lighting is a way to make your pictures stand out =) Hope that helps!
